Biometrics

Biometrics is a way of identifying someone by their fingerprints, DNA, facial structure, eyes (iris or retina), and voice. Most people share all of these features, and they are unique in each individual. Also, they don't change over an individual's lifetime and cannot be easily faked.

A machine learning program can recognize distinct patterns in someone's physical characteristics, store that information, and then verify a pattern to confirm the identity of the individual in question.
